In this role, you will write Python code for AI projects, work with APIs, test open-source models, and experiment with new AI tools while comparing results with the team.

Your role in the team
- Sie arbeiten mit unserem Software-Team an konkreten AI-Projekten und bringen Ihre Ideen ein:
- Sie schreiben Python-Code für kleine Services und Prototypen, die Anwendungen mit KI-Modellen verbinden.
- Sie arbeiten mit APIs und lernen Tools wie FastAPI oder pydantic direkt am Use Case kennen.
- Sie testen Open-Source-Modelle mit Ollama oder vLLM auf unserer Infrastruktur.
- Gemeinsam mit dem Team vergleichen Sie Ergebnisse und finden heraus, welches Setup für welchen Use Case sinnvoll ist.
- Sie binden unter Anleitung AI-Dienste per API an, zum Beispiel in Azure, und sehen sich an, wann Cloud- oder On-Premise-Lösungen passend sind.
- Sie probieren neue AI-Tools aus, bauen kleine Demos und erläutern im Team, was davon für uns nützlich sein könnte.

Education
- Ein aktiv laufendes Studium ist für diese Position Voraussetzung.
Qualifications
- Sie studieren Informatik, Data Science oder etwas Vergleichbares im Master.
- Wenn Sie bereits ein eigenes Projekt oder eine Übung mit AI umgesetzt haben, zeigen Sie es uns gerne.
- Sie verfolgen Entwicklungen rund um LLMs und haben Interesse daran, diese in Unternehmensanwendungen zu integrieren.
- Python-Grundlagen bringen Sie mit.
- Wenn etwas nicht sofort funktioniert, bleiben Sie dran und recherchieren in der Dokumentation.
- Sie erläutern gerne, was Sie getestet oder entwickelt haben, und teilen Ihre Ergebnisse offen im Team.
- Wenn Sie Unterstützung benötigen, fragen Sie nach.
Experience
- Sie haben bereits kleinere Skripte oder Anwendungen entwickelt; erste Erfahrungen mit APIs, Git und CI/CD konnten Sie ebenfalls sammeln.
- Erfahrung mit Linux oder Docker ist hilfreich, aber keine Voraussetzung.
What we offer
- Für die ausgeschriebene Position gilt ein KV-Mindestgehalt von EUR 3.153,16 brutto auf Vollzeit-Basis 37,5 Stunden/Woche.
