IT Security Consultant

Do you love making complex systems secure and turning risks into opportunities? As an IT Security Consultant at Premedia, you will help shape a secure digital framework for innovation – for ourselves and our clients. You will advise, review, optimize, and think about IT security holistically: technically, organizationally, and human-centered.

• You define and develop our IT Security strategy – from governance through processes to technical standards.
• You manage or lead operational security projects yourself, for example in the areas of network security, endpoint protection, MFA & conditional access, public key infrastructure, penetration testing, or cloud security.
• You work closely with your IT infrastructure team as well as internal departments and external partners to ensure a consistent level of security.
• You proactively analyze vulnerabilities, conduct risk and threat assessments, derive concrete measures from them, and present these in a management-ready manner to the IT leadership team.
• You organize and conduct training sessions and awareness campaigns to raise employees' awareness of information security.
• In the event of an IT security incident, you act as the central contact person to coordinate necessary steps.
