IT System Engineer Storage, Backup & Virtualization

Our clientis an established medium-sized IT systems house based in Vienna (hybrid or remote options available) with a focus oninnovative data center infrastructuresStorage, backup technologies, virtualization, and digitalization solutions. The company serves Austrian enterprise clients and implements customized, future-proof IT environments. We are now looking for a team-oriented individual with an IT infrastructure background whoimplements modern data center solutions together with colleagues and clients.

In this role, you will take on an independent area of responsibility, be closely integrated into our team, and work on storage, backup, SAN, and network solutions in theData center environment of Austrian enterprise clients.

• Planning, installation, and implementationof storage, SAN, and backup solutions in new and existing data center environments, as well as their expansion and modernization at hardware and software levels.
• Technical Customer Consulting in Presaleswith active involvement in architecture and solution designs, technical clarifications, and effort estimations in close coordination with sales and engineering, as well as professional exchange with manufacturers.
• Technical project support and implementationfrom planning through ordering and coordination to commissioning – including manufacturer and customer communication, scheduling, and on-site implementation.
• Participation in AI and digitization initiativesas part of process optimization as well as collaboration on internal IT projects and the operation of our own corporate infrastructure.

• The monthly gross salary is at least EUR 4,200, with willingness to pay above this amount depending on qualifications and experience.
