Size and Roles: The team consists of 21 technicians and 11 support staff, which is considered too small.

Organization and Flexibility: The team is organized in a flat structure, adapting to current ICT needs. The advantage lies in flexibility and efficiency, but there can be occasional challenges with interface issues.

Distinctive Aspect - Innovation and Engagement: The team stands out for its engagement, attributed to the flat organization and a focus on innovation and the future.

Recruiting

Integration in Recruiting Process: The department is actively involved in the commission determining the recruiting process.

Onboarding Procedure: There isn't a specific procedure for new colleagues due to limited hiring opportunities. New members are assigned to small teams.

Qualities Beyond Technical Skills: Emphasis is placed on qualities such as teamwork, engagement, and interest, in addition to technical qualifications.

Technologies

Technical Challenges: Challenges include areas like mobility, cloud computing, security, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Current Technologies: Cloud and AI are not yet implemented. Mobility solutions involve Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Citrix for remote workplaces, following mainly Microsoft standards.

Evolution of Technology Since Inception: Since the founding of the IT department, technology has evolved significantly. The shift from mainframe computers to the present-day technologies reflects the rapid cycles of technological change.
