Our expectations of you
Education
- Ongoing or completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in either computer science, data science, machine learning, engineering or a quantitative field.
Qualifications
- Alternatively, an equivalent track record of things you have built - please share GitHub, portfolio or demo links with your application.
- Solid Python knowledge beyond notebooks, and everyday Git: branches, pull requests, code review.
- Hands-on work with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI or open models): prompts for structured extraction, function/tool calling, and evaluation.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON and basic SQL.
- Productive use of AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex).
- Fluency in English; German or another European language is a plus.
- A genuine interest in finance, M&A and the fast-moving world of international transactions.
- Discretion - you will see confidential deal information.
What we offer
- The gross monthly salary (full-time equivalent) starts at EUR 3,143 and depends on your qualifications and experience.
- The actual number of hours is depending on your availability and can be arranged flexibly.
