Teamlead / Lead Architect Electronics Hardware

At LOXONE, everything is created under one roof: hardware, firmware, and software. We are owner-managed, and over 100 of our products are used worldwide in intelligent buildings. They regulate energy and indoor climate, control access, operation, and communication. To ensure that this also works quickly and robustly in the next product generation, a strong shared foundation is needed. You will build that. In your role, you define the circuit and design standards on which LOXONE's entire product development is based. At the same time, you ensure that our series products remain stable and future-proof throughout their entire lifecycle. Initially, you will start together with two experienced engineers and expand the team to four to six employees within the next 18 months. As part of your onboarding, we will make you fit and support you on the way to becoming a Loxone expert. In addition to eLearning courses, you will receive practical training and knowledge of the entire Loxone system in our three-week Boot Camp.

• Building and disciplinary leadership of the Hardware Platform team.
• Definition, development, and ownership of core hardware platform standards (power supply, communication, IO, EMI/EMC).
• Establishment of binding technical specifications for new developments across the entire Loxone Group.
• Technical overall responsibility for series products throughout their entire lifecycle, including optimizations, discontinuations, and technical modifications.
• Analysis of field issues and derivation of sustainable improvements.
• Ensuring stable series production with our EMS partners.
• Close collaboration with firmware, product management, and quality assurance.
• Cross-project resource planning and prioritization in collaboration with project managers.
• Ensuring development standards, best practices, and quality processes at all locations.
• Active participation in technical decisions and the continuous optimization of development processes.

• For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the salary range for this position is €75,000 to €95,000 gross per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
