Your role in the team
- You develop data visualizations using scalable Looker dashboards.

Our expectations of you
Education
- With a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in data science, you have the right foundation.
Qualifications
- You have a solid grasp of applied statistics (hypothesis testing, regression, uncertainty analysis) and can reliably tell whether a spike in the data reflects a genuine effect or is just noise.
- You already work with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or similar tools.
- You speak German at a good level, aren’t put off by a bit of Styrian dialect, and are comfortable communicating in English within the team.
Experience
- You have hands-on machine learning experience and know what matters: from feature engineering, model selection, and cross-validation to choosing the right evaluation metrics and avoiding data leakage.
- You have very strong SQL skills, including analytical/window functions and query optimization, and know how to speed up queries through query performance tuning. You also have extensive experience with data warehouse architectures.
- You already have experience deploying data or ML solutions in production environments.
