The team places heavy emphasis on a high quality and stable codebase.

Depends on the team. Top Level Management a lot of times does not care/have a clue, still sometimes interferes with decisions. Rush to market while sacrificing speed in the aftermatch happens too often, harming the credibility and maintainability. Again, highly depends on the situation.

  • Documentation

There's a strong focus on comprehensible documentation of the applications.

    4

    Comment

There is docu, but needs an major rework. Still there is a team helping you.

    Comment

    Good pipelines, bit slow though.

The team is free to work with the most modern technologies and tools.

    2

    Comment

Lot of legacy, though slowly improves. Reneweal rate should be higher, though.

    Doesn't matter in this scenario

  • Product Participation

Developers aren't just working off tasks, but also have a voice in the decision making process of the products.

    4

    Comment

Yes, you can (and should) influence the product. Usually you even need to substitude lack of top level direction, more than you should. Whereas you can influence your code part, cross product and big picture alignment is political chaos.

  • Meeting Efficiency

Nobody shall be wasting their time in inconclusive meetings.

    4
  • Agility/Adaptability

The team can quickly react to the needs of clients and the market.

    3

    Comment

Critical fixes get delivered fast. Product feedback and normal bug fixes get ignored for long time for no reason.

  • Project Management

Excellent requirements- and project-management is a given.

    1

    Comment

Top Level Management has no clue about the product, doesn't give directions or decides without any knowledge. It's just about marking that your a high manager. A lot of people just got a highly paid job out of connections.

Higher positions are only given to American friends.

    1

    Comment

Used to be open communication, but this got abandonded. Unions get ignored conciously, last minute changes of contracts, product decisions taken without talking to teams upfront, wild strategy changes out of the blue.

  • Team Diversity

All team members are diverse with regards to gender, background and age.

    3

    Comment

It's an international company, but differences in geos are not respected.

  • Appreciation at Work

One's effort is always acknowledged within the team.

    2

    Comment

Within your team and direct managers you will be fine. Top Level does not care and might randomly blame people for their errors (last minute changes, lack of communication, lack of direction, no overall strategy or lack of product knowledge)
