Your role in the team
- Microsoft 365 & Identity + Active Directory: You manage our M365 environment (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Defender) and drive forward the Entra ID hardening (Conditional Access, MFA, Privileged Identity Management). You oversee our Active Directory hybrid environment and continue a migration to M365 only.
- Endpoint & Device Management: You are responsible for the lifecycle of our Windows and Mac endpoints, including complete MDM enrollment (currently InTune) and structured patch management.
- Endpoint Security: You operate and modernize our Endpoint Security solutions (including FortiClient & Microsoft Defender) and build a Vulnerability Management.
- Network: You are responsible for our network infrastructure (Unifi/Aruba) including VLANs, 802.1x policies, and their documentation.
- IT Projects: You independently plan and execute migration and rollout projects as structured projects.
- Support & Operations: You are the point of contact for IT-related issues of colleagues (hardware, licenses, onboarding, access) and ensure a professional, reliable IT service.
- Vendor Management: You oversee collaboration with external service providers.
- Asset Management: You will manage our IT inventory (Jira Assets) and keep track of all inventory objects (devices, software, licenses, etc.).
- Team Development: You will provide technical support to our existing IT apprentice and assist in gradually establishing the IT team to operate independently.

- Network Fundamentals (VLANs, 802.1x, Switching)
- Project experience with migration and rollout projects
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style as well as communication at eye level with our DevOps team.
- High quality and safety awareness
- Willingness to work at least 3 days a week in our Graz office
Optional but equally valuable are experiences with:
- Knowledge of Fortinet/FortiClient
- Aruba or comparable enterprise switch knowledge
- Zero Trust / Conditional Access Architecture
- Experience with vulnerability management scanners (e.g., Tenable, Defender)
- Automation of recurring IT tasks (PowerShell, Opentofu, SQL, etc.)
- Experience in professionally supporting colleagues; trainer qualification is an advantage.
