Your role in the team
- To strengthen our international PowerIT team, we are looking for a dedicated, well-organized and tech-savvy IT Operations Specialist (m/f/d) to join our headquarters in Wolkersdorf (20 km north of Vienna) as soon as possible.

- Cybersecurity & Information Security:
- Review of compliance with security and information security requirements.
- Contribute to the development, adaptation, and implementation of IT and information security policies.
- Project collaboration:
- Contribute to all IT and digitalization projects.
- Central internal point of contact for the international IT team (AT / DE / UK).
- Taking on clearly defined areas of responsibility.
Our expectations of you
Education
- Completed IT education (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university) or comparable practical experience.
Qualifications
- Experience working with external service providers (coordination, escalation, quality assurance).
- Very good knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure.
- In-depth networking expertise (VPN, routing, VLAN, basic firewall and security concepts), with a focus on coordination, requirements, and oversight.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server operations (on-premises / hybrid); experience with other server technologies is a plus.
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
- Scripting skills (especially PowerShell) for automation and as a basis for technical requirements are an advantage.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity, information security, and IT governance (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong service orientation and commitment to excellent service quality for internal customers.
Experience
- Experience in change, incident, and problem management.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Blob Storage, and hybrid cloud environments.
- General experience as an IT Operations Engineer, IT System Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or in a comparable role is desirable.
