IT Service Continuity / Disaster Recovery Management Consultant

Our expectations of you

Education

• Completed education with a focus on Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Infrastructure, and/or Cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge in the design and implementation of backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions (on-premises and cloud).
• Experience in conducting Business/IT impact analyses as well as in defining RTO/RPO, outage, and recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with common standards and frameworks in the field of IT Service Continuity, BCM, and Information Security (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 27001, NIS2).
• Knowledge in IT Service Management, especially in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Continuity Management).
• Ability to clearly document complex technical contexts and systematically prepare them into guidelines, runbooks, and emergency manuals.
• Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a precise, self-reliant working style.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and focused even in stressful and crisis situations.

Experience

• Several years of experience in operating and/or designing IT infrastructures (servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud).
• Experience in planning, executing, and evaluating ITSC/DR tests, emergency drills, and technical recovery scenarios.
• Ideally, experience in the technical handling of Major Incidents and Cyber crises, as well as in collaboration with crisis management teams.
