We, the Waldviertler Schuhwerkstatt, have been around for more than 30 years now. Praise be to God. In 1984, we started with about 10 people. Established shoe manufacturers made bets on how quickly we would go out of business. At that time, we were the smallest living shoe factory in Austria with only 10 employees. The big companies had 1000 employees or even 2000 workers at that time. Nowadays, more than 30 years later, with 60 employees in our leather workshop divisions, we are one of the largest companies in Austria .
