Qualifications

Proven embedded firmware skills, including seamless communication with cloud services.

Bonus: familiarity with mobile development to grasp the end-to-end Tapkey Protocol workflow.

You bring a profound understanding of scalability and performance needs in SaaS environments.

You bring deep familiarity with Microsoft Azure and are confident in leveraging its core cloud services effectively.

Security principles and their practical application.

In addition, you ideally bring expertise in some of the following areas, which are not mandatory but considered valuable:

• Cryptography and data protection concepts
• Automated testing methodologies to ensure quality and stability

You are a proactive problem solver who tackles challenges hands-on and doesn't wait for others to step in.

You are a strong team player who thrives on collaboration and contributes actively to joint success.

You demonstrate a clear eagerness for continuous learning, staying adaptable in a fast-changing technical environment.

You are fluent in English and communicate clearly in technical and collaborative contexts.

Good German listening skills are required to ensure smooth team communication - fluency is not necessary, but understanding spoken German is a must.

Experience

• Solid, hands-on experience with cloud technologies, ideally Azure, that lets you enhance and extend our existing platform.
• Solid experience with cloud and distributed databases, proficient in design, optimization, and management (e.g., Cosmos DB, SQL).
• You bring hands-on experience in designing robust APIs and protocols (e.g., based on Bluetooth, NFC/HCE).
• You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in designing and building scalable SaaS applications.
