Our expectations of you

Education

• Recommended education: HTL/Matura and 9 years of professional experience OR university bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional experience OR university master's degree and 5 years of professional experience OR university PhD and 3 years of professional experience.
• Solid education, knowledge, and experience in IT service management - preferably demonstrated by relevant certifications such as ITIL or COBIT.
• Solid education, knowledge, and experience in the field of project management - preferably with proof of a PMP certification.
• Willingness to continuously study applicable jurisprudence and literature, as well as other legal regulations and normative recommendations.

Qualifications

• Austrian citizenship.
• Fulfillment of the professional qualification requirements for the RIVIT role "Security Architect & Analyst" (RIVIT 2).
• Excellent knowledge of relevant standards and norms (e.g., ISO 27000 series, ISO 20000 series, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ...).
• Solid knowledge of moderation techniques and audit procedures, as well as basic knowledge in the fields of forensics and cryptoanalysis.
• Very good knowledge of the structure and processes of the internal affairs department, or the willingness to acquire this knowledge.
• Willingness to undertake business trips, both within and outside the EU.
• Excellent foreign language skills (spoken and written English) as well as very good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to recognize and analyze complex, especially cross-disciplinary issues and contexts, coordination skills, implementation and process orientation, as well as determination and resilience.
• Excellent comprehension skills, leadership ability, team spirit, and negotiation skills, as well as a very high level of decisiveness.
• Willingness to undergo security clearance in accordance with §§ 55 ff of the Security Police Act (SPG).

Experience

• Solid knowledge and experience in application development and operation on IBM mainframe, UNIX, and Intel/Microsoft platforms.
• Extensive experience in conducting IT security audits as well as experience in IT security consulting - preferably demonstrated by relevant certifications such as ISMS Manager & Auditor according to ISO 27001.
