Our expectations of you

Education

• You have completed a degree in Software Engineering (University, FH) with a focus on Embedded Development.

Qualifications

• You are passionate about the industrial-grade implementation of scientific topics in the field of mobile robotics and are able to make complex technical decisions independently.
• You are familiar with the topics of sensor fusion, control and regulation of hardware components, as well as the development of tools - ideally, you have already led projects or significantly shaped them in these areas.
• You enjoy collaborative development in small, focused teams, and you are happy to take on technical responsibility.
• You have good German or English skills (at least B1 level, ideally higher).
• In addition to your strong communication skills, independence, and initiative, you are characterized by your accuracy, creativity, and your ability to solve complex technical problems efficiently and systematically.

Experience

• You already have several years of professional experience in the planning and development of hardware-related software.
• You have gained extensive practical experience in development with C/C++.
• You already have practical experience with real-time systems and real-time bus systems.
• Ideally, you have extensive practical experience in the development process with tools such as ROS, Git, GitLab, etc.
