Our expectations of you

Education

• You have at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, telematics, software development or have equivalent, in-depth knowledge (e.g. in threads, locks, swap, symmetric/asymmetric cryptography).

Qualifications

• You have a strong interest in optimizing and performance tuning applications and databases to ensure efficiency and availability.
• You work precisely and attach great importance to maintaining high quality standards, especially when checking code.
• For you, meaningful documentation is a matter of course - both when writing instructions and when precisely recording software features and change requests.
• You are fluent in English and prefer to work in a team that values collaboration and open communication.
• The idea of constantly learning new things in your everyday work appeals to you and motivates you to independently develop automations to make work easier for you and your team.

Experience

• You have professional experience in operating Linux systems (especially Debian).
• You have experience in operating web applications on a commercial scale and are familiar with team-based development processes (e.g. merge requests and code reviews).
