IT DevOps Engineer CRM OpenShift

We are part of the Central IT Service. Our service portfolio includes the development (creation, development, procurement, ...) and the technical application operation of services related to the field of Digital Administration. This includes software applications and services for research, teaching, and university administration. These enable centralized access to the various business processes of the University of Vienna.

The position is initially limited due to the absence of an employee until January 8, 2028; a transition to a permanent employment contract is being pursued.

You work with a focus on OpenShift and CRM in a young cross-functional DevOps Scrum team with colleagues. The Scrum team develops, tests, maintains, and operates software components and standard systems following DevOps principles. Together in the team, you enable a system that optimally supports the respective target groups in their daily challenges.

Technical support in the area of a central CRM system based on an OpenShift cluster

Support of the Product Owner in topics related to OpenShift

o Creation and management of components related to CRM and OpenShift

Implementation of automated internal and cross-system tests for efficient quality assurance of the core operations for CRM and the necessary interfaces.

Support users and colleagues as 3rd-level support

Communicate with all individuals involved in the software development process.
