Education

• A successfully completed commercial or technical degree or comparable technical training.

Qualifications

• You have a strong interest in new technologies and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
• You enjoy working in a team, contributing your own suggestions and implementing them in the form of new DSC products on SAP BTP.
• If the project situation requires it, you don't mind traveling to the customer occasionally.

Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a cloud software project, both in planning & development and operation on a cloud platform.
• Backend development: You already have project experience in development with Node.js, ideally in combination with TypeScript, and have in-depth knowledge of at least one SQL database (ideally SAP HANA). Experience with JS backend frameworks such as Express.js or nest.js (ideally SAP CAP/CDS) or in another technology, e.g. Java Spring Boot, would be desirable.
• Frontend development: You have experience in at least one JS frontend framework, such as Angular or React (ideally SAP UI5). You are also proficient in HTML and CSS and familiar with browser dev tools such as debuggers, inspectors, profilers, etc.
• Cloud development: You have a deep understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, REST and ideally also OData or GraphQL. You are familiar with authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth, SAML, JWT and you have experience in the design, implementation and operation of distributed cloud systems (ideally on CloudFoundry). You are familiar with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines are second nature to you.
• You are familiar with Git – ideally you also have knowledge of UNIX shells to better automate our pipelines.
• You are familiar with the use of project and process management methods and tools; you have experience with Scrum and, for example, Jira/Confluence.
