DevOps System Engineer

(DevOps) Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Part-time | 30 hours | Hybrid home office | Location Vienna

Our seven-member team provides the company's internal server and application infrastructure in an ISO-27001 certified organization, ranging from the operation of bare metal servers in the data center, to network-level connections between three corporate locations, to the management of clusters with over 100 virtual servers for our services in a Vienna data center.

We prioritize automation and system monitoring to operate our systems as securely and stably as possible. Security is also a major concern for us, and we ensure it with appropriate tools.

Technologies that are important to us, which you know and ideally master:

Linux (Debian, Oracle Linux, CentOS), Shell scripting, Ansible, Proxmox, Apache, HAProxy, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, Nagios/Icinga2, LibreNMS, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Opnsense/PFSense,

These technologies are familiar to you or even well-known:

GitLab with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack, Prometheus & Grafana, Terraform, ModSecurity

• Expansion of the skills and quality of our infrastructure and minimization of the efforts required for operation.
• Familiarization with the workflows, tools, and systems of the platform (Bare Metal and virtual).
• Monitoring operations and involving the appropriate team in case of anomalies.
• Monitoring of the system as well as the backup routines for emergency cases.
• Updating, further development, and optimization of the infrastructure.
