Our expectations of you

Education

• Completed technical education (apprenticeship/HTL/FH/University) or a comparable qualification.

Qualifications

• Very good technical understanding in the areas of Security Operations, Logging & Monitoring, IT Infrastructure, Networks, Firewalling, Operating Systems.
• Understanding of APIs and their integration into security solutions.
• Extensive expertise in Information Security Management, IT architecture, and current technologies.
• Certifications in the field of IT security are advantageous.
• German (C2) and English (at least C1) in spoken and written form.
• Willingness to travel (primarily within Austria).
• Impeccable reputation, willingness to undergo security clearance according to §55 SPG.
• Teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, and enjoyment of challenges.

Experience

• Practical experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), preferably in the setup and operation of infrastructure, especially monitoring and forensic tools.
• Experience with operating systems, especially Linux.
• Experience in the application of automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and scripting languages.
• Experience in the application of SOC-relevant security hardware and software.
• Experience in the application and security aspects of cloud services and containerized environments.
