Original title: Group Information Security & IT Risk Manager (f/m/d)

The purpose of this role is to develop, communicate, and enhance specific components of the UNIQA Security Governance Framework, particularly focusing on Information Security. The goal is to align with the threat landscape, meet legal requirements, and ensure effective information security governance across designated units.

1. Establishment, operation and continuous improvement of the security management system for designated units of the UNIQA Group with a focus on information security and IT risk.
2. Perform security assurance reviews within the managed security governance. Communicate the identified security issues and derived security risks to the relevant stakeholders.
3. Establish and support the definition of security issues, measures and exceptions to comply with security governance.
4. Carry out periodic internal controls to ensure the quality of the local second line of defense activities in the field of information security, including sample reviews on closed measures and issues. Internal controls also include specific audits independent of security assurance reviews.
5. Execution and support of local or group-wide projects, processes or tools that contribute to the overarching goal of Group Security and Group Risk Management.
