Our expectations of you

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of solution architecture principles and practices. Ability to develop scalable, reliable and secure cloud-based solutions that align with business requirements
• Programming and scripting: Good knowledge of .net development with C# is necessary. Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash is an advantage
• Network and Security: Knowledge of network concepts, protocols and security best practices in cloud environments
• Knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based applications and services. Familiarity with tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch or similar monitoring solutions to detect and resolve performance issues, bottlenecks and system outages
• Knowledge of Azure-based data storage and management services, such as Azure SQL Database. Understanding of data migration, backup, and recovery strategies in the Azure cloud
• Previous project and/or consulting activities in a consulting company in similar areas are an advantage
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with client stakeholders in presenting complex technological solutions verbally (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.) and in writing (e.g.: reports, articles, etc.)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams (internal Avanade and client teams)
• Ability to manage difficult communications with customers and stakeholders

Experience

• In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with various cloud services is an advantage
• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git or similar platforms for building, testing and deploying applications
• Containerization and orchestration: Experience with container technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is an advantage
• Experience with Terraform and knowledge of Infrastructure as Code is a plus Non-technical requirements
• Solid knowledge of German, both written and spoken. German native speaker or CEF C1 (written and oral) preferred
• It would be nice if you have 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a consulting or technology environment.
