Front End Software Engineer

As a Frontend Software Engineer (f/m/d) you will join a cross functional product team and ship exciting new features to a global audience. We are striving to deliver the best possible user experience for our customers in the specialty coffee domain and provide a broad range of products for coffee experts.

You will work closely with peers, product managers, designers, and backend developers on services that power the specialty coffee industry. We collaborate closely across departments and we acknowledge learning from each other regardless of position or experience. We believe in growing together and we welcome your contributions to architectural and implementation decisions. This role provides ample room to grow not only as an expert in your field but also as a person.

We have offices in Innsbruck and Vienna, this role can be based in either one of them. Our frontend tech stack is based on Ember.js, React and TypeScript.What you'll do

1. You will develop new and improve existing features of our products as part of a cross functional product team
2. You will understand and solve problems for our customers on a global scale
3. You will work in an agile environment and you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle using the Scrum framework
4. You will write client code that works and is compliant with our internal coding standards
5. You will focus on performance, testability and best practices
6. You will be involved in implementing and improving React components according to their technical specifications and designs
7. You will be part of our regular code reviews to help the team improve and share your knowledge with peers
8. You will learn about the specialty coffee industry and have an impact on the livelihoods of thousands of coffee producers

Our technology stack

1. We build our website with Ember.js (JavaScript) and React (TypeScript)
2. We transpile with Vitejs
3. We avoid dependency hell and follow the Clean Architecture approach
4. Our Tests are written using QUnit and Jest
5. Our CI/CD pipeline is fully automated
6. We use the JSON:API specification to communicate with the backend
