Your role in the team

Our expectations of you

Education

• Completed degree with an IT focus (university or university of applied sciences) or other qualification with several years of relevant professional experience.
• Training as a Software Tester according to ISTQB (at least Foundation Level).

Qualifications

• You have basic knowledge of software engineering (Java, SQL, JMS and RabbitMQ queues, SOAP and REST web services).
• You possess Java development skills at a level sufficient to automate tests within a dedicated framework and to contribute to the further development of the framework.
• You enjoy working independently in a complex and dynamic environment and are a communicative personality.

Experience

• You already have at least 3 years of experience in testing complex IT systems as well as solid knowledge of testing methods and tools.
• You have experience with testing tools such as Selenium, SoapUI, Postman, XRay for JIRA or IntelliJ as your development environment.
• Ideally, you already have experience with: Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), Spring, Gitlab, Maven, RabbitMQ, JMS, UNIX systems, and OpenShift, keyword- and data-driven testing, and working in an agile software development team.
