Your role in the team
As an AI Native Automation Developer, you will shape the technical foundation of our projects. You will develop highly efficient backend infrastructures and ensure that our architecture remains scalable and future-proof. At the same time, you will be the driving force behind our new AI Native Testing division: you will use AI agents and smart scripting to proactively detect errors, setting new quality standards within our team.
Responsibilities
- Backend excellence: Development of new APIs with Spring & Kotlin and design of database solutions with MongoDB
- Smart testing: Performance of manual and automated software tests (web & mobile) and evaluation and implementation of AI agents for testing
- AI automation: Automation of tests and setup of test environments using AI & scripting
- Security & deployment: Careful implementation of new features, documentation in Swagger and deployment via CI/CD pipelines & Docker
- Process optimisation: Continuous development of the entire testing process as well as further development of internal QA standards and AI-based test automation

Education
- Background: Bachelor's degree (IT) or equivalent work experience
Qualifications
- AI-Native: Practical experience with AI tools and a passion for effectively using them for AI coding and automating QA processes
- Engineering Skills: Experience in backend development as well as proficiency with QA structures and standard testing practices
- Mindset: High quality standards, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills in agile processes
- Communication: Team-oriented, open to new ideas, and proficient in German and English
Experience
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with tools like Bruno, Postman, AppTester / Testflight
- Basic knowledge in frontend frameworks (React / Next.js)
