Our expectations of you

Education

• Matura diploma and 7 years of professional experience, preferably in a technical field, OR a completed Bachelor's degree from a university in the field of Computer Science/IT Security OR Information Security from a comparable University of Applied Sciences, and 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a technical field.

Qualifications

• Austrian citizenship.
• Fulfillment of the professional qualification requirements for the RIVIT role 'Technical Cyber Analyst' (RIVIT 3).
• Knowledge of designing secure networks and virtualization technologies as well as the ability to solve complex IT problems.
• Practical knowledge in the field of cyber security and in at least one of the following areas: incident handling, malware analysis, IT security aspects of operating systems, network security, forensics, data analysis.
• Basic knowledge of various cyber threats and different types of ICT security incidents.
• Excellent OSINT skills, very good database knowledge (SQL, NoSQL), familiarity with the national and international cybersecurity landscape, and good programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Excellent English skills, very good oral and written communication abilities, good rhetorical skills, as well as communication skills and willpower.
• Leadership skills, ability to develop teams, organizational talent, strong persuasion and motivation skills, assertiveness both internally and externally, as well as a high level of social competence and excellent analytical skills.

Experience

• Excellent management skills, very good knowledge of project management and presentation techniques, excellent database management skills, and experience with risk assessments.
