Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence

As a Data Scientist / AI Consultant at IBM, you will work to solve business problems using cutting-edge open-source technologies such as Spark, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, as well as leading cloud-agnostic and cloud-native technologies like Databricks, OpenShift, Azure AI, etc.

You will prepare, analyze, and understand data to deliver insights, predict emerging trends, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

In your role, you may be responsible for:

• Analysis, preparation and management of complex data sources
• Working on both custom and pre-trained models (including Foundational Models and LLMs)
• Writing data and AI-related programs that are easy to understand, bug-free, and ready for change.
• Development of scalable and robust data and machine learning pipelines
• Application of traditional algorithmic techniques as well as cutting edge AI/ML paradigms
• Implementation, integration, and monitoring of AI / ML models
• Working in an agile, collaborative environment, partnering with other scientists, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders of all backgrounds and disciplines to bring analytical rigor and AI-fueled innovation to all aspects of our clients' businesses.
• Communicating with internal and external clients (e.g., business and IT departments) and stakeholders to understand and define business needs and appropriate AI techniques to provide the best possible solutions.
• Evaluating results of AI systems and reporting the results to technical and non-technical audiences.
